This week I’m about to start designing a dress for my thesis studies and I’ve gathered a few images that really inspire me. The dress I am designing will have panels of laser cut Keraflex tiles adhered to the fabric. The only real problem I see for myself is that I’ve never designed or sewn a garment before but when there’s a will, theres a way.

Alexis,
Wow! I love these! I could certainly see you in any one of them. The style is very 1920’s with the straight silhouette, but the fabric choices make them all seem casual and comfortable. I have sewing machine experience and will be glad to help you! I also have several books about sewing, especially garments. Dresses are a great place to start, especially the kind you want to make. Very simple, possibly even able to be made from only 2 parts! I am excited to see the addition of the Keraflex tiles!
